10 May Two-Eyed Seeing Approach Gaining Traction
The ACHH Initiative is so happy to see that The Two-Eyed Seeing Approach, which is one of the guiding principles of The ACHH Initiative research, was mentioned in the 2021 Report from the Canadian Pain Task Force.
This is one example as to how understanding the culture, language, practices and individuals of the Indigenous Peoples of Canada is a crucial element of future changes needed within the healthcare system and more specifically, how healthcare practitioners provide culturally sensitive healing.
