27 Jun ACHH Workshop with Shannex Corporate Office
On June 12th, the ACHH Initiative collaborated on a cultural safety workshop with members of the Shannex Corporate office in Halifax, NS. ACHH Initiative team members Julie Francis and Margot Latimer had the honor of leading a comprehensive day-long session on cultural safety in healthcare for Indigenous Peoples (see image below). Participants engaged in a series of enriching activities designed to foster learning and mutual understanding. The workshop emphasized integrating newfound knowledge to enhance the care continuum for Indigenous Peoples within Shannex’s services.
