Post-Doctoral Fellow Opportunity – Clinical Psychology: Subspecialty Rural First Nations Wellness

BC Children’s Hospital Department of Psychology is offering a 0.5 FTE 1-year Post-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Fellowship: Subspecialty in Rural First Nations Wellness.

Start Date: Between June and September 2018, continuing for a 1-year term.

This position is for candidates who have completed an APA/CPA accredited Psychology Internship Program.

The fellowship represents a collaboration between the Gitga’at Nation and the Department of Psychology at BCCH. The fellowship will focus on developing culturally competent psychological services, based within a reciprocal care training model. The fellow will spend one week per month within the Hartley Bay community and the equivalent of one week per month at BCCH providing distance support to the Hartley Bay community either through telehealth, telephone or written communications.

Note: There may be the possibility to consider additional employment opportunities at BCCH to make this a full-time position for the one-year fellowship term.
