We are excited to congratulate John R. Sylliboy on his new role as Dalhousie University’s first Vice-Provost, Indigenous Relations.
From co-founding the Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance to advocating for Indigenous health and education, John’s work has always been guided by the principle of Pjila’si — Mi’kmaq for “welcome.”
We look forward to supporting his leadership as he continues to build stronger relationships with Indigenous communities and addresses systemic barriers at Dalhousie.
