Exciting ACHH Team news

The ACHH Team couldn’t be more proud and happy to announce that ACHH Initiative Team member Katie Gloade is the recipient of two very prestigious awards; The Dalhousie Killam Scholarship and the President’s Award. Katie’s research in Mi’kmaq children’s experiences in their early years of schooling, specifically the ways in which they are assessed and how chronic pain conditions affect their ability to learn, has been an asset to the team and to achieving the goals of the ACHH Initiative. We are lucky to work with her and are very excited to see what changes she will make to the future of Mi’kmaq children’s pain and healing.
